Could my new home fail inspection? No. A professional home inspection
reports the current condition of your prospective home. It is not an appraisal, which determines the market value, or a municipal
inspection, which verifies local code compliance. Eagle Eye does not “pass” or” fail”
a home, but reports to you the physical condition of the property, indicating what may need repair or replacement
before you buy.
What if the report reveals a problem? No house is perfect. If a problem
is detected, it doesn’t necessarily mean you should not buy the home. You now know in advance, what to expect. A seller
may elect to fix the problem or adjust the purchase price. If you are on a tight budget, this information will prove to be
invaluable.
Do I have to be there for the home inspection? It is not required
that you are present for the inspection, but we recommend it. During the inspection, you will have the opportunity to observe
all the systems in the home and understand how they work. You may ask the Inspector questions during the inspection,
which will be an experience that we think you will enjoy. Eagle Eye Home Inspections also welcomes the seller
and agents to attend.
What if I have a question later? We are committed
to serving our customers. Please feel free to contact us with any home questions you may have.
What extra
services do you offer that other inspectors may not? - Independent water testing
- Independent
mold testing and air sampling
- Indoor air quality inspection
- Humidity control
- Digital
photography
How long will the inspection take? The average inspection takes
approximately one and a half to three hours depending on the size, condition and age of the property. A high quality
report can be provided the same day.
